Dr Dorothy Ogunlana

Doctor (MBBS,MRCGP,CCFP)

Dr. Dorothy Ogunlana was born in Nigeria and attended the prestigious V. N. Karazin Kharkov National University, faculty of Fundamental medicine. She proceeded to the UK, successfully went through Housemanship and specialty training qualifying as a General Practitioner. She relocated to Canada and has been a fulfilled established successful Family Physician. Dr. Dorothy has a wholesome-holistic approach to medicine and medical practice. Married with two kids, she enjoys time with family and swimming.

Dr Daniel Frimpong

Doctor (MBChB, MRCGP, CCFP.)

Dr Frimpong obtained his medical degree from the School of Medical Sciences, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana.
He undertook his postgraduate training in United Kingdom completing his residency in General Practice and worked as a General Practitioner till moving to Winnipeg. Aside of work he enjoys spending time with the family, travelling and learning new cultures.

Dr. Ehi Oseghale graduated from University of Benin in Nigeria, and did his postgraduate training for General Practice in United Kingdom.
Dr. Oseghale is a College of Physician and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM) certified Family Physician with over a decade experience in medical practice. Dr. Oseghale has a wealth of experience managing patients in both community and hospital settings within the scope of family practice. He also has an exceptional ability to foster professional relationships with patients. His philosophy is hinged on patient centred practice, empowering collaborative effort in disease prevention and treatment of acute and chronic medical conditions.
He enjoys playing soccer, reading and spending time with his wife and two kids.

Dr Amel Zaki fort richmond

Dr. Amel Zaki completed her medical degree from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. She undertook her postgraduate training in University of MB. She completed her residency program in 2005. She has been working as a family physician since then. Dr. Zaki was granted a Fellowship from the College of Family Physicians of Canada in 2017. She enjoys spending time with her family. She likes reading, making crochets and baking.

Dr Akinsola obtained his MBBS degree from The College of health sciences , University of Ilorin Nigeria.

He completed his postgraduate medical training in General Practice in Liverpool, UK and achieved membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners MRCGP.

He has also attained the Licentiate certification of Medical council of Canada LMCC, as well as the Canadian specialist qualification in Family Medicine, with the College of Family Physicians of Canada CCFP.

Outside the walls of the clinic, Dr Akinsola likes to spend time with his family as well as listening to music and reading history books.

Dr Dornubari Lebari

(MBBS MRCP MRCGP CCFP)

Dr Dornu is an experienced physician who graduated from the prestigious St George’s, University of London. She completed her postgraduate training in family medicine with a special interest in reproductive and sexual health.

She is a passionate family physician. She continues to maintain a special interest in reproductive healthcare, sexual health and menopause care. Dr Dornu is also able to fit IUDs and implants, for birth control.

Dr Dornu favours a holistic whole-person approach to her clinical practice, working in collaboration with the patient to achieve the best care for them.

When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family on walks, baking and travelling.

Dr Cornelius Osondu

Doctor (MRCGP, LMCC, CCFP)

Dr Cornelius Osondu obtained his Medical Degree from The University of Calabar Medical School in Nigeria.

He initially completed his postgraduate medical training in Family Medicine/General Practice in Nigeria and then in Kent, United Kingdom. He has achieved membership in the West African College of Physicians (Family Medicine) and the Royal College of General Practitioners MRCGP.

He has attained the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC) Licentiate certification and the Canadian specialist qualification in Family Medicine (CCFP) with the College of Family Physicians of Canada.
He is passionate about patient safety and believes that patient-centred-holistic care should be the bedrock of Primary care.

He maintains an active interest in Musculoskeletal Medicine, including minor MSK procedures like Joint injections.

When not at work, he loves spending time with his family and indulging in his love of everything football.

Grace Lawal, RSW, MSW.

Grace is passionate about people, whether to offer support through improving mental health, addressing relationship difficulties, or adjusting to life situations. Grace was attracted to working as a mental health practitioner because of her passion for change.

Grace is conscious that the human mind can expand and accept change. Grace has the heart to listen to people’s stories in a non-judgmental way.

Grace enjoys building relationships with her clients and believes a healthy relationship is vital to successful therapeutic intervention. Grace brings diversity to her team; her education in Europe and her African heritage helps clients to connect with her.

Grace obtained her bachelor’s degree in social work from University College Cork, Ireland. She has her master’s degree in social work from the University of Waterloo. Grace is skilled at developing comprehensive assessments, building interpersonal relationships with clients, and providing crisis intervention for clients.

Some of the many tools that inform Grace’s practice include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which provides, mindfulness skills, Distress Tolerance, Interpersonal effectiveness skills, and emotional regulation skills.

She also adopts attachment theory and strength-based and solution-focused approaches to work with clients.
