All patients must present a valid health card for all visits. An uninsured service fee may apply if you do not have health coverage or insurance.

Please ensure that your record is kept up to date with your current address and phone number. Inform reception if there are any changes to your personal information.

Please notify the clinic as well as Manitoba Health if you move addresses. This will enable them to mail you a new health card with your updated information. Your health coverage may only be cancelled if you contact Manitoba Health when you move.

All new patients must book a meet and greet with an accepting physician. Please ensure that the history and physical form is completed before the appointment. No other medical concerns will be addressed at this visit.
Acceptance is not guaranteed and will be at each doctor’s discretion.

Please be aware that if you currently have a family doctor in our clinic, you can only have one family doctor. We do not transfer our patients to different physicians to keep our clinic’s work ethic, and only ONE Meet and Greet is allowed.

Appointments can be booked online, in person, or over the phone. You can utilize our walk-in system during clinic hours if you are not a registered clinic patient.

For patients with a family doctor in our clinic, we will try to get you an appointment the same day if any emergency arises. If this is not possible, you can use our walk-in and request to see your family doctor. If this is not possible, you should visit your nearest emergency hospital.

Walk-ins are accepted during our open clinic hours. We advise that you limit a visit to ONE health issue and book follow-up visits for any additional concerns. Due to high traffic volumes, our walk-ins may close an hour before our closing time.

Please be advised that wait times are estimated, and we always need to determine precisely how long the wait may be. Please be respectful and understanding to our clinic staff as we strive to do our very best to get patients seen by the doctor promptly.

If you have an appointment, we will do our best to get you in as close to your appointment time as possible. However, sometimes due to unforeseen circumstances or emergencies, this may only be possible.

If you need to cancel your appointment, please give us as much notice as possible. It is advisable to do so 24 to 48 hours before your work. If you do not show up for your appointment and do not contact our office, a fee will be incurred for the missed appointment

Some medical services not covered under Manitoba health may require additional fees. These include missed appointments, sick notes, health forms, and school and work forms. Please check with the clinic for the cost of uninsured services.

Your doctor will discuss this with you when you receive the test results. This is usually when all laboratory results are available. Some results can take longer to receive depending on what tests have been requested, and there may be a delay in informing you of the results.

You can always call our office to confirm whether the results have been received, but we cannot discuss lab results over the phone. If you want to review the results, please book an appointment with your physician.

Please book an appointment with your doctor for prescription renewals. Some prescriptions may be filled through a prescription fax from your pharmacy, depending on the type of prescription and at the doctor’s discretion.

The patient must come in for an antibiotic prescription and be re-assessed before the doctor fills any antibiotic prescriptions.

All medical practitioners follow guidelines established by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM) in prescribing controlled substances. We DO NOT provide opioids or other controlled substances to walk-in clients.

We have compiled different resources that may and can be helpful for you as you learn more about your health conditions. The information is general and should be reviewed with your provider so we can make it more specific to your circumstances. These can be found on our resources page.
